Clēnera, LLC is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Boise, ID

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Financial Analyst works closely with senior leaders of the company providing financial analysis including decision support. This role is based in Boise, ID and will work a hybrid schedule. We are not currently accepting applications for 100% remote work. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Use long term forecast models to analyze potential capital projects using valuation techniques, including IRR and NPV.
  • Develop and maintain multiple complex business financial models to be used for strategic planning, budgeting, and long-term forecasting.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of specific value drivers and assumptions and monitor key assumptions updates specific to the Clēnera portfolio.
  • Provide scenario planning and communicate results related, but not limited to, Power Purchase Agreements, Capital Investments, and Financing Structure.
  • Support quality assurance on economic metrics, collaborating with senior management and utilizing board materials for project development decision-making.
  • Prepare analytical packages (project health reports) and group KPIs.
  • Assist in the development of the annual budget.
  • Collaborate with individual department, as well as cross-functionally with other departments within the organization.
  • Maintain organizational excellence in terms of project timelines and deliverables.
  • Demonstrates the Clēnera Core Values of Caring, Committed, and Courageous. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. 
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role. 
  • Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.
  • Skills/Attributes: 
    • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. 
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to analyze complex data and situations to make decisions. 
    • Exceptional organizational skills. 
    • High-degree of self-motivation with the ability to effectively solve problems with little direction.
